Winding down for Christmas I had a very pleasant light recovery run round the field that ironed out the last of the stiffness in my legs and cleared any remaining cobwebs from last night's minor festivities. It is great to be out in milder weather, not feeling as though you are on a survival course!
I gave the orthotics a second run out, having first ducktaped my foot to protect the blister I got last time. They were not quite so painful today, I might get used to them yet.
I am hoping to have a chilled day off tomorrow (with only just enough to drink), with a view to tackling another 13 mile run on Tuesday or Wednesday.
