Framlingham Gully

A great new route, the whole of mile 2 was cross country.

The making a date plan paid off, who knows I might get three runs in this week after all.
Job for today - SEND IN MARATHON APPLICATION.

Mojo Missing - If found please return!

I keep missing runs, this is no good at all! I don't want to get all Bridget Jones about it, but I must pull myself together. I have arranged a running date with C tomorrow, so there is less chance that I can wriggle out of it. Norwich is fast approaching and I am in no sort of shape.

On a more positive note, I got an application form for the London Marathon from Children with Leukaemia today, so I might be there in Greenwich come April 2010 yet!

I have started codeBlog for anybody who is interested

Maypole Seven

Gentle paced run with C, forgot to put on my heart-rate monitor - duh!

A very pleasant hour spent in the Suffolk countryside. We ran the last mile a little quicker than the first six and felt great at the end.

Spent some time putting some proper styling on www.crookasacat.com over the past few days. I am pretty happy with the results.

Kettleburgh Six

Gentle run with C

Running felt much easier although I did seem to produce large amounts of snot and the inappropriate life style choices of the last 10 days or so are still showing clearly in my heart rate statistics. The weather was fantastic, and I must give a big thankyou to C for getting me out there.

Planning a seven miler on Saturday.

Stanway Five

Gentle resumption of running with C.

Boy does the 10 day break show up in my heartrate data, well that and the smoking I suppose - I must get my act together! I will try to run every day for the rest of the week.

I am still thinking of applying to run the London Marathon with a charity, I have made a few enquiries but have not heard back yet.

Running break and a broken heart (again)

So, no runs for a week, I am feeling very guilty!
Actually I have not been feeling very well with a sore throat and a cough, so I do have an excuse and I hope to resume my running next week.

Missing a week's worth of runs is bad enough, but to top off my misery I got the dreaded "Sorry, you're not in" letter from the 2010 London Marathon yesterday. That is four straight ballots I have missed, ho hum. I now have to decide if I want to go down the charity route for London or choose an alternative spring marathon to aim for. Watch this space.

For inspiration I can always relive a few memories from 2007 and 2008.
