I was relieved to be running at all today after yesterday's debacle. In order to get the maximum training with minimum stress to my sore hip I settled on an interval session today. This consisted of jogging 1 mile then doing 4 reps of 7 min miles with a 3 min recovery in between followed by a further 1 mile jog. The first two fast miles were pretty easy, I surprised myself that I could actually do 1 mile in 7 min, the second two however were a bit tougher. My hip was sore again by the end of the session but not as bad as yesterday and recovered pretty quickly once I got home.
