I awoke with slightly stiff legs and hips after yesterday's exertions and decided that a recovery run was all that was needed today. I actually find it quite difficult to force myself to run at the slow pace necessary to stay in the recovery zone, but I managed pretty well and I must say that I definitely felt better after the run than I did before it and the subsequent trip to Tesco was harder than the run!
The sight of me gently jogging along seemed to greatly amuse my aunt and cousin who I passed on my way round, I suppose I should be glad that I am bringing joy to others!
