Hoxne and back
Distance : 18.20 miles
Duration : 02 hrs 45 min 32 sec
Energy : 1794 KCal
Max HR : 150 Bpm
Av HR : 134 Bpm
Mile pace : 09:05 min/mile
Mission statement :
18 miles in approx 3 hours easy
Strictly speaking today's run was scheduled for tomorrow, but with the social arrangements for Easter being quite intense, I decided to do my long run a day early.
JD, who was coming for supper, decided to bike over from Norfolk so I ran to meet him in Hoxne which is 9 miles from base. The run went pretty well although I have to admit that I was pretty tired by the end and I had managed to pick up a new niggle in my left knee. Oh well, better to run out of steam now than in a fortnight I suppose.
We had a good party during the rest of the day, apart from JD we were blessed with the company of Devilboy, Chippers and the Gods. I even made my first vegetarian moussaka which went down very well. I recommend the recipe.
