Route #11 Duration : 40 min 33 sec Energy : 599 KCal Distance : 5.3 miles Max HR : 168 Bpm Av HR : 157 Bpm Mile pace : 07:39 min/mile Today's run was a basically a near flat out "tough" session as you can see from the HR levels above. It is a sobering thought that the pace I achieved while running near flat out would still not get me a "good for age" (03:15:00) time in a marathon. It just goes to show the gulf between us mere mortals and the running elite. I am afraid I have to report more orthotic induced foot damage as I now have a new blister on my existing blister. I reckon I will have to leave the foot beds at home for a day or two so that my feet can recover.
