Route #11 Duration : 43 min 9 sec Energy : 532 KCal Distance : 5.3 miles Max HR : 150 Bpm Av HR : 142 Bpm Mile pace : 08:08 min/mile Mission statement :- 5 miles in around 43 mins (steady pace approx. 8:35 min/mile) Well, at least I am consistent, yet again I have managed to run too fast! I started out way too quick and by the time I realised I was into the swing of things and found it hard to slow down. Apart from the fact that my HR and pace appears to be too hot it felt like a "steady" run and I found it quite easy. I must be getting fitter! My hip was a little stiff, but I am hoping tomorrow's rest day and Friday's recovery run will settle it down for good.
