6 days to go - More resting - Lots of pasta

It's Monday so it's rest day. I find myself thinking more and more about the race. I have figured out my race strategy and I am feeling confident. I must admit that every little ache and sneeze is making me nervous. Last week was a new record for mbeat, the second in succession, so that bodes well for Sunday. As you can see, Smokey has embraced tapering, it turns out that she is an expert. The main task for the coming week is to maximize the amount of carbohydrate in my diet so that I have full energy reserves for Sunday - so called carb loading. Doesn't sound too hard, I love pasta.
